19.5 degrees north latitude, 800m above sea level. Buti's farm.
At present on the land, the monsoons have started. The river is rising and the ponds are filled. The people and animals are happy and healthy. We are constantly planting more fruit and food trees now that the rains have started. Growing and thriving now are lychee, mulberry, macadamia, cashew, coffee, papaya, mango, lumia, rambutan, pomegranate, guava, passion fruit, choate, teak, bamboo, mahogany, neem, ka fir lime, lemon, sugar cane, sorgam (which the chickens love), squash, beans, sweet potatoes, peanuts, basil, peppers, two kinds of coriander, mint, lemon grass, morning glory, aloe vera, marigold, sunflower, and yerba mate as soon as we cut some cuttings.

We are in the process of creating an ethnobotanical garden. We now have over 3000 coffee trees. And with the next rain season we will plant 2000 more. We welcome all cuttings and seeds and would love to have you come share your knowledge and experience with us.

We are an open community and love to have people living on the land. We welcome people passing through and are also open to working with those who want to stay for extended periods. We recognize differing forms of creative expression and rejoice in the diversity of energy the land receives.
